Select a link style from an actual reference, then record whether the construction is solid or hollow where that distinction applies. Length, width, approximate finished weight, flexibility, clasp type and stone coverage should be confirmed together. A wide chain can sit differently from a narrow chain at the same length.

Material and finish descriptions must distinguish solid precious metal, another base metal and plated colour. A gold-tone image is not proof of solid gold. Purity, plating and stone identity are included only when verified for the quoted piece.

Pendant scale, thickness and bail clearance

A pendant brief can use a name, logo, symbol, portrait or statement motif that the buyer has the right to reproduce. It should state finished width and height, thickness, front and back treatment, stone layout, engraving, bail opening and target weight.

Bail clearance needs to fit the widest relevant part of the chain and clasp arrangement. The approved gallery or drawing should show the side profile and back as well as the face, because depth, structure and attachment points are easy to miss in a single image.

Repeat orders should reference the approved dimensions and production evidence. Current metal and stone pricing, source availability and destination terms are reconfirmed rather than assumed from an earlier order.
