TRADE DESK / STRUCTURED BRIEFS SPECIFICATION BEFORE CLAIMS
START A WHOLESALE OR PRIVATE-LABEL BRIEF
The fastest route to a useful trade quotation is a complete commercial brief. Identify the business and market, attach the exact reference or concept, and state the product, material, stone, dimensions, quantity, packaging, target budget and destination that the source must review.

Information to include in the first message
Share the business or trading name, country and target market, preferred product category, reference link or files, desired changes, metal and stone position, dimensions, quantity, packaging, target budget, required timing and delivery destination. State what is fixed and what can change.
If the brief uses logos, characters or protected designs, confirm the right to reproduce them. If stone reports, metal testing, samples or approval media are required, include that expectation before pricing so it can be reviewed with the source.
- Business, market and intended sales channel
- Product reference, artwork or design brief
- Material, stone, dimensions, finish and quantity
- Packaging, branding and approval requirements
- Target budget, timing and delivery destination
What happens after the brief
Nicki reviews the brief, coordinates source questions and returns the feasible specification and current commercial terms. MOQ, sample cost, tooling, lead time and payment stages are design-specific. An early estimate is not a production approval.
The buyer approves the written specification and agreed sample or evidence stage before production. Product-specific quality checks and fulfilment details are then attached to the order path.
Prepare for repeat orders
Keep the approved specification, files, dimensions, source reference, finish record, packaging details and inspection evidence. A repeat should reference that version and identify any change; otherwise two similar requests can produce unintended differences.
Current material prices, source availability, quantity and destination terms are reconfirmed for each repeat. Nicki coordinates the conversation but does not promise that an old quote remains open indefinitely.
