ORDER PROCESS / EIGHT CHECKPOINTS SPECIFICATION BEFORE CLAIMS
FROM DESIGN BRIEF TO DELIVERY
A custom or trade order becomes safer when every decision is attached to a checkpoint. Nicki coordinates an eight-stage path that records the product reference, exact specification, quote, approval evidence, production or stock position, quality checks and shipment terms.
1–2: Choose the reference and build the specification
First, select a catalogue product or send a design brief. Keep the exact URL, reference number, image or drawing with the enquiry. If the concept uses a name, logo or protected artwork, confirm the right to reproduce it.
Next, establish product type, dimensions, metal, stones, finish, quantity and intended destination. Watches also need a base-watch and movement position; chains and pendants need compatibility; rings and bracelets need the correct sizing system.
3–5: Quote, approve and reserve or produce
The quotation records the current commercial position: specification, price, currency, payment stages, availability or minimum quantity, approval method and expected timing. Unknown or optional elements should be identified rather than silently assumed.
Approve the written specification, drawing, render, source media, sample or agreed first-piece evidence. Ready stock can then be reserved, or an approved custom job can enter production. Material or design substitutions require a new approval.
6–8: Check, arrange delivery and inspect receipt
Nicki performs or coordinates the agreed product-specific checks, such as measurement, visible finish, stone layout, mechanisms, count and gallery evidence. The scope depends on the product and is not presented as a universal laboratory certification.
Finally, confirm courier, insurance position, destination charges, dispatch details and tracking. On receipt, inspect the package and product promptly. Preserve packaging and unedited photographs if there is damage, shortage or a specification concern.

When does custom production begin?
Production begins only after the specification, commercial terms and required approval stage are confirmed.
Can the design change after approval?
A requested change must be reviewed for feasibility, cost and timing and then approved in writing before it replaces the earlier specification.
How long does an order take?
Timing depends on ready-stock status, complexity, quantity, approval speed and delivery destination. The current estimate is included in the quote.
